2026 Summer Camps

Wildhearts Wanderers: Nature, Art & Adventure

Wildhearts Wanderers is a week-long summer camp designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence through immersive outdoor exploration and hands-on art-making. Hosted on a working farm, campers spend half of each day hiking, observing nature, and engaging in imaginative play, and the other half creating art, building projects, and playing cooperative games.

This mixed-age camp supports developmental flexibility: younger campers explore through sensory play and storytelling, while older campers engage in deeper observation, design challenges, and creative leadership. The camp emphasizes connection to nature, collaboration, and joyful learning in a screen-free, child-centered environment.

Wildhearts Academy – Sprouts Program (Ages 3–4)

The Sprouts Program is a gentle, nurturing introduction to learning for our youngest Wildhearts. Designed for children ages 3–4, Sprouts focuses on rhythm, connection, and joyful exploration through play, music, movement, and hands-on activities.

Each session follows a predictable daily rhythm that helps young children feel safe, confident, and engaged. Through circle time, songs, movement, stories, and guided play, children build early social-emotional skills, fine and gross motor development, language, and creative expression.

Sprouts learning is inspired by seasonal themes and simple changemakers, with an emphasis on kindness, curiosity, and caring for ourselves, others, and the world around us. Activities are intentionally short, flexible, and sensory-rich to support developing attention spans and natural curiosity.

Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace while being gently guided by experienced educators in a warm, supportive environment. Students bring their own lunch and enjoy a balance of structured moments and free play throughout the day.

Wildhearts Academy – Explorers Program (Ages 5–7)

What do Rachel Carson, George Washington Carver, and Jane Goodall have in common? They are changemakers who followed curiosity, compassion, and courage to make a lasting impact on the world.

The Explorers Program is a weekly, nature-inspired learning experience designed to spark wonder and nurture the Wildheart spirit in children ages 5–7. Guided by trailblazers and changemakers, students explore the world around them through hands-on activities, creative lessons, and meaningful play that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and empathy.

Each session blends outdoor exploration, storytelling, art, and social-emotional learning. Children engage with nature as both a classroom and a teacher—building awareness, resilience, and a sense of responsibility for caring for the world and the people in it.

Every day offers a unique set of activities, allowing families to enroll in multiple days or choose a single day that fits their schedule. Students bring their own lunch and spend the day learning, creating, and playing in a supportive, mixed-activity environment.

Wildhearts Academy – Trailblazers Program (Ages 8–13)

The Trailblazers Program is a dynamic, project-based learning experience for older Wildhearts who are ready to think deeply, create boldly, and explore independently. Designed for students ages 8–13, this program blends arts-integrated academics with student-led exploration and outdoor adventure.

Mornings are dedicated to focused, creative learning through the study of changemakers throughout history. Using books, discussion, and hands-on projects, students explore the lives, ideas, and impact of artists, scientists, activists, and innovators. Through visual art, writing, building, performance, and design, learners connect historical inspiration to their own creative voice and problem-solving skills.

Afternoons shift toward student-led exploration, hiking, and collaborative play. With guidance from educators, students practice independence, leadership, and teamwork while engaging with the outdoors as a space for discovery, reflection, and movement.

The Trailblazers Program encourages critical thinking, creative confidence, collaboration, and resilience. Students are invited to take ownership of their learning, follow curiosity, and develop a strong sense of purpose as they engage with both academic content and the natural world.

Students bring their own lunch and spend the day in a balanced rhythm of structured learning and open exploration.
